Helios

This is another photo from a rather tasteful European nudist magazine called Helios.

  1. If I remember correctly in my dotage, Helios was a Swedish publication. Danes now have the right to full nudity on any Danish beach but as a boy, I was never quite sure what the law was in Sweden, although there were stretches of nudist beaches on the coast as well as the inland lakeside resorts. Whether they were legal or just tolerated I wouldn't know. I remember a beautiful nudist beach in Jönköping, in the county of Småland, which is on the southern shore of Sweden's second largest lake of Vättern. The Swedes, like the Germans, have no inhibitions about taking their clothes off. In the hot Summers, Michael and I would keep towels on the back window of the Volvo and if we passed a lake, we would skinny dip to cool off, while his parents smoked. The gentleman above looks very Scandinavian - and just look at that stunning scenery. Happy memories!

    1. You are quite correct about the Swedes and nudity. Glad the photo brought back happy times.

  2. Rather tasteful and very beautiful - both the photograph and the gentleman himself. I agree that this has a Scandinavian feel. My favourite in today's series.
