The only note attached to this painting of a young man was "Maler um 1900."
A lovely work. Tanned hands and legs suggest summer. Perhaps an art student earning a few Marks. I'm guessing, aged about 20? That point where the face hasn't caught up with the more mature musculature of the body.
German for "painter around 1900."
