Pierre Victor Robiquet painted this in class (literally, it would seem) in 1907.
Jerry, I wanted to comment on the painting above in respect of the length of the model's hair, which is very redolent of Oscar Wilde and which possibly indicates that like Wilde, the artist was perhaps at one time associated with the Victorian Aesthetic Movement. Yet another artist about whom there seems to be painfully little online. Also please note the artist's signature which uses very art nouveau letters and figures. Look how he forms the figure 9. Unfortunately, when I tried to comment, the platform took me to the 1905 charcoal sketch.
