For Saturday, we have some early 20th Century photos of nude men, starting with this pair in a picture that looks for all the world like the opening shot in a pornographic sequence of stills.
Disclosure: I electronically removed yellowing and increased the contrast.
The man on the left looks terrified.

DeleteThey look as if they were caught "in flagrante"! I would certainly refer to both of them as "big boys".

DeleteI do hope they had fun doing this shoot. Any idea of the country of origin? I note that they both appear to be cut, so maybe US? As discussed before, many "upper class" men in Europe were often cut during this period.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought on the origin of this photo was the "idiots default" of French when it comes to porn from that period. They did not, however, have a monopoly.

ReplyDeleteI think it was printed on a thick type of paper that has proven prone to edges and corners cracking off over time. We have some like that from my family's photo collection. The subject matter is quite different, however, lol.
