Surf's Up
Our first Harry Bush drawing is one of my favorites. The man
seems to be surfing in various positions and states of undress.
Was Bush inspired by Chritopher Atkins? It sure looks like it. Probably later in Bush's career when he did drawings featuring young male celebrities of the day. - Rj
I meant to type Christopher NOT Chritopher, though he is one beautiful critter, and I don't think that anyone who was around then will ever forget his debut in the movie Blue Lagoon. So natural for him having come from a family of naturists. - Rj
San Onofre SB San Clemente, California had nude surfers until the jealous 'uptight ones' (as I call them) put a stop to it in 2010. You have to find hard to get to beaches nowadays in California. -Rj
Having grown up nowhere near "surf country," I ask if there was any naked surfing done?

DeleteJames isn't the only one. It's possible to see it at almost any beach were nudity is allowed and the waves are the right sort for surfing.
