A different version?

I think I may have an original unaltered version of this one in my files somewhere.
Who knows?  I might even have posted it, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

  1. If you should stumble across it, I hope you'll post it. It's really charming.

    1. Yes I concur. All four of those men are stunning. I would love to see the whole picture.

    2. I agree too. My favourite in an enjoyable series, not least due to the four stunning men - Mr. Top left and Mr. Bottom right being my favourites, fwiw.

I did a search via the Early 20th C. label but couldn't see a posting of the unaltered version.

    3. OK, I need to get busy and see if I actually have the full version or was just wishfully thinking.

  2. It looks almost like one of those pictures of military males who've just finished bathing.

  3. This could easily be a modern photo of a group of beautiful young nude male models. It has that sultry look.

    1. Right, and the two on the ground may have some chemistry developing.

  4. I’ve seen this photo on 3 or 4 other sites and always with the fig leaves. One of the sites inferred this was taken in the 1930’s. They obviously have athletic bodies, and they’re young, which leads me to infer they were probably college teammates.

    1. It turns out that I don't seem to have a nude version after all, and your thought that they could be college athletes makes sense.

  5. Again, wonderful natural physiques. For a period when this type of photography was considered normal. A rowing team maybe?
