This early 20th C. wrestler/strongman definitely had a painted on fig leaf, but he also seems
to be holding something over his crotch with his left hand. Perhaps that didn't get the job fully
done, and the photographer or publisher had to paint some more cover on later.
Perhaps holding some sort of small leather or chain mail apron? Not fully obscuring his testicles? That neat little tache is great.
