1944 UK

How an FKK magazine came up with a UK photo from 1944, I'll never know.

  1. It does seem strange how a UK photo from 1944 ended up in an FKK publication. I'm glad it did though. It's a nice photo and he's a fine looking guy. A shame he wasn't standing up though.

    1. What is the publication date of the FKK magazine?
I did at check with the help of 'St. Google', and in 1944 there were GB nudist magazines published and on sale.
      check "https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/938585136/vintage-ukpublished-naturist-magazine" for a proof.
So it is very possible that the photo was taken from such a publication.

A comment: the British are no so prude as people believe.
Search for the movie "Educating Julie (1984)", there are a lot of full frontals from both sexes.
After all, the late Prince Phillip was known to sleep naked...

    2. Peter, the magazine was published post-WWII, but I don't have the exact date, but I think it was in the 50s. And yes, I also find him quite attractive.

    3. Agree about the Brits not being as prudish as some think. There were well organized and well attended nudist (naturist) gatherings in England going back to the 1920s. There was even one group that rented stately country homes and the surrounding gardens for their events. In some cases the owners were naturists themselves, and in others they just needed the money. It's expensive as hell to maintain those places, and they have bankrupted more than one noble family.

  2. I have an English buddy who swims naked in the Thames almost daily. He said nobody seems to be ruffled by it. He has even sent me naked pictures of himself.

    1. I wouldn't want to swim in the Thames below Windsor, but there are some lovely clean stretches in the upper reaches of the watershed.
