Pages 28-29
These photos were made by Mercury Studio and Male Today,
two outfits I have to research as I know nothing about them.
You have a good eye. I enlarged my original scan and have to agree with you. (Also, I may need to invest in a better scanner. The enlargement looked really ragged.) Painted or drawn on straps were not uncommon, and sometimes photos were sold with erasable straps in an effort to get around censorship.
The Black pouch is evidently painted
