1911

My source dated this at 1911, but gave no other information, despite there being a signature.
I tried to make it out, but I think it is Cyrillic script, something I can't read.

  1. It is indeed Cyrillic script but despite enlargement, the resolution is just not clear enough to make the name out. That does not mean, however, that the artist was necessarily Russian as other countries in Eastern Europe use different versions of the Cyrillic alphabet.

    1. True about the nationality. I was hoping someone might be able to transliterate the signature.

    2. I'm sorry, it's just not clear enough. Plus the fact that it is also a real signature as one can see from the flourish of stroke on the final letter. I'll try and channel Ingo Swann overnight. He was the world's best remote viewer and himself an artist. Maybe he can let us know!

    3. Go for it, and let me know if Ingo's spirit moves you.
