Juan Montana looks like he just won a prize fight and is happy about it,
probably because he doesn't seem to have gotten beaten up at all.
That was the gesture used by the cosmonauts on the rocket gantry at the Baikonur Cosmodrome before blast off... although he's definitely more of a Yuri Gagarin than a Valentina Tereshkova. Juan Montana did a whole series of photographs against a black background by Pat Milo - and I'm very pleased he did.
