My source only knew that this was German from about 1920. What I find interesting is
how his spine looks like a crevice pointing at a rather nice derriere. And although the image
isn't very crisp at all, the light and shadows seem to somehow add clarity to it.
A German discus thrower with a backside that isn't the size of the Rhineland. Tremendous movement in this image. Yes, and it is most certainly a study in light.
