Otto Olympier was part of a combination strongman/acrobatic act called the Three Olympiers.
The photo dates from about 1920, and he's not too convincingly chiseling that sign.
Otto had a side gig posing for postcards, and this is my favorite.

  1. The Latin phrase Mens sana in corpore sano is usually translated as "a healthy mind in a healthy body" and derives from the Satires of Juvenal, a Roman poet of the first and second centuries of the common era.
