I've had a tendency over the years to post several panels at a time of images of Eadweard
Muybridge's motion studies to give some indication of the flow of movement. (I've
even posted a few GIFs as well.) Today, however, I'm putting up some of my
favorite single frames, starting with a muscular young man putting the shot.
Thank you for another series of Mr Muybridge's wonderful work. I think that it was so very wonderful that he had naked men in so many of his photographs.

ReplyDeleteThere are some records associated with the University of Pennsylvania that identify some of the models. Also, Larry over at The Unashamed Male has a great collection of identified Muybridge models.
