I wonder what the U.S. Army's regulations said about kissing in 1944?

  1. I once heard that men were more affectionate with each other before the war ... post war it suddenly became a tabu :/

    1. I think there's some truth to that. I do know that the 1950's were particularly repressive of anything that even appeared gay. A lot of affection between men in the old days was just that, affection, and not necessarily outright homosexuality. Of course, we have always been here.
