This photo of John Weidemann is one of my all time favorites by Bruce Bellas, aka Bruce of LA.  Bruce was far more likely to do outdoor photo shoots in the deserts near LA than at the beaches.  The reason for this was that there were very few beaches in the area at the peak time of his career that allowed nudity.  He did, however do shots of men in skimpy shorts at the beach.
