I'm more than happy to oblige, and we start with William Laurence Cumpanas, aka Bill Cable.
He started modeling for Jim French of Colt in 1970 and also posed for Bob Mizer of AMG.
His first movie was Bijou in 1972, and from there he went on to make at least a dozen and a
half films ranging from down and dirty porn reels to Basic Instinct. Bill died a year and a
half after being badly injured in a 1996 motorcycle accident.

I saw Bijou at 1972 Aspen Design Conference when Brendan Gill, gay critic for The New Yorker showed both Bijou and Behind the Green Door as "cutting edge" American porn. When he showed Bijou, half the audience walked out.
