The numbered pages on the photos by Bruce in my small collection of his photos of Larry Meadows make me think they were published in a book or magazine, which is understandable.
This is a stunning image and my favourite photo in the series. Pretty obvious where the viewers eyes are drawn and Mr. Meadows certainly delivers the goods.
Interesting that you both noted the similarly to some of the Sargent sketches. Is this pose more likely to be used in art works than photos? Off the top of my head I can't recall many photographic models in such a pose.
You make a good point about the lack of photos with this pose, Peter. There are so many parallels in style between the two genres, but somehow this got almost entirely left out of the photo side.
This one is gorgeous! And it reminds me of one of those John Singer Sargent sketches.
