Ritters


The Ritter Brothers took a turn before Earle Forbes camera with this impressive result.

    1. I'd say this was meticulously posed, and add that it would have been nice if more of these folks had written memoirs.

    3. The Ritter Brothers were stunners and you have posted some great photos of them on the site. George Platt Lynes photos of them are beautifully​ stylish ... although might lead one to question the closeness of the brothers relationship. In a previous post you mentioned that you needed to research the brothers lives post-1940 as they seem to drop off the map after that. Maybe an idea for a future series? Given that the brothers modelled and also worked as photographers themselves it's a shame that they didn't write their memoirs as I'm sure they would have had some interesting tales to tell.
