Arena

This looks like it was shot under the bleachers at some rodeo arena.
All kinds of things go on under the bleachers.

  1. Jerry, the smiles in these real cowboy shots more than make up for the fact that they aren't naked. Do you suppose any cowboy-to-cowboy sexual activity occurred under those bleachers? Just thinking it revved my engine.

    1. Yes, the smiles are a big plus, and some cowboys take opportunities to get frisky when and where they can.

  2. An exceptional series, Jerry. While I loved Bruce's model cowboys the real cowboy photos are definitely my favourites. Their good looks, natural charm, ease in their bodies (and clothes) and winning smiles are a real delight. And they got to wear their own boots!

    1. Glad you enjoyed it, Peter. This is one of those rare times when the G-rated portion of a series drew more favorable attention than the R.

  3. This guy's Levi's are too short for horse riding. All the rest of your photos have the guys Levi's (yes Levi's not Wranglers) 3 to 4 inches longer than their boots so when they sit a horse the pant length looks natural inthe saddle. You probably grew up wearing Wranglers, as most of us west of the Rockies always wore Levi's, like I noticed all the guys in these photos. You didn't think I wouldn't bring up the whole Levis vs. Wrangler controversy did you?

    1. Somebody had to, so it might as well be you, lol. We wore Wranglers on the ranch, but I switched to button front Levis in college at UT-Austin. When I came out as gay in graduate school, I switched back to Wranglers because the gay cowboy types (some real and some drugstore) in town all wore them. The conventional wisdom was that Wranglers showed off both the derriere and the package better than Levis. I'm not so sure about all that, but having used all my non-conformist tendencies to come out, I went along with the crowd in this instance.
