Blacksmiths
This Muybridge segment shows two well built blacksmiths at work.
I've probably posted it before, but think it's worth another look.
These two are always worth another view. The sheer majesty of the naked male form performing psychical work. Also, they look totally natural and relaxed working nude, which is so good to see.
I love Muybridge's work. This is a new one for me. Physical work like this makes for great bodies. Jerry, has this been "doctored?". The technical aspects are excellent.
B.D., I'm not aware that this has been altered, but as per recent discussion on some art pieces, we never can be completely sure. I will say that Muybridge's work was considered epochal at the time he did it, and he used the very best technology available, some of which he developed himself.
