Chuck
Chuck Baker strikes an unusual pose on a concrete patio bench.
LOL...he will. That does look very awkward, but rather beautiful. I can only assume that it was the best one of a sequence. Perhaps raising up from a more conventional side reclining pose. "What if you faced the camera and lifted your self up on your left leg?". Very much a transient pose, yet stunningly performed. What could have been a bit of a mess, becomes something rather special. I love it. Chuck's youth and lean muscled physique carries it off.
I wonder if the strained look on Mr. Baker's handsome face could be caused by maintaining this odd pose. It looks like it would be a tough one.
ReplyDeleteThe pose does indeed look tough. Hopefully, our life model friend David from London will comment on it.

DeleteThanks, David! He facial expression indicates just a bit of uncertainty or difficulty . . . which is totally understandable.
DeleteThere's a whole series of Mr. Baker. I never knew his name, though. This is also a first for this pose.
ReplyDeleteRight. I have at least half a dozen others, but chose this one because it is so unusual.
DeleteHe reminds me of Johnny Carson for some reason; during that period when he was transitioning from dark hair to gray.
