Danny
Here we see Danny Maffia in color and sitting on the same column
that appears in both the first and last of today's photos.
Lon didn't do color that often, but when he did . . .
Quite. A far more balanced and proportionate physique. That maintains that balance when observed from any position and in any pose. An ideal that needs to be revived.
More than a pretty face and a hot body, Danny Mafia, now 87, became a superb, very successful fine artist, Masters from Pratt Institute. Included in his credits are a painting of John Lennon on the cover of Time Magazine.
Magnificent...body, face, lighting, pose...
ReplyDeleteWow! Lon's black and white photos are superb but I love the vibrant colour here. And as for Mr. Maffia ... stunning.

His skin tone come across beautifully in color, plus no tan lines.
DeleteWhat a superb photograph, flattering a superb build - so much more harmonious and aesthetically pleasing than the roided hulks of today.
ReplyDeleteWhat you say about the difference in body aesthetic between then and now can't be emphasized enough.
