In a rut
This hippie lad seems to be kneeling in a muddy rut.
Well, some of it was because the festivals they attended were often turned into seas of mud when heavy rain hit the crowded fields where they were held. They also tended to crowd into small ponds and streams to cool off, creating more mud. At some point it became, "We're gonna be muddy anyway, so let's have fun with it."
Again, Woodstock comes to mind. But is he American? A certain intact appendage says no.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with hippies and mud? I think it's because they used to take mud baths, which is why everyone else thought they needed a bath.
