Jim

I've seen this relative demure photo of Jim Brown attributed to both Playgirl and Cosmopolitan.
He did an extensive fully nude set for Playgirl, some of which I've posted.

    1. If you click either the celebrity or Playgirl label, some previous photos of Mr. Brown should turn up.

  2. I remember reading, back in the day, that the legitimacy and acceptance of frontal male nudity was in large part due to Jim Brown's Playgirl spread. It also made Burt Reynolds into an "A" list celebrity.

    1. Yes, that's true, but Burt Reynolds initial "nude" spread in Cosmo had his crotch strategically covered. I think some more literal versions from that session emerged later.

    3. Yes, please. You can attach it to a message in the blog contact form at upper right.

  3. This seems more like Cosmo, def not the Playgirl spread. And I remember seeing a similar pose of John Davidson (remember him?) in my mom's Cosmo, covering up his bits. That same "lying down, covering up what everybody wants to see" seemed to be the MO of cosmo.

  4. So I clicked to comment on the photo of Jim GLASGOW, but it brought me here, to the wrong "Jim".
IU'm talking about the one with him reclining that says "Jim Glasgow shows plenty of fur in this centerfold, but no package. Playgirl usually didn't hold back on their centerfolds, but this is still a great photo.:
My comment is, this pic is not the actual centerfold, even though it spreads across 2 pages. This was in the days of 4-page centerfolds, where they unfolded "across", then "up". This pic is there after you unfold once, but when you open the full 4-pager, it definitely shows everything! He's sitting on some stone steps with knees sufficiently "manspread" to reveal his manhood & bush!
