Old favorite
This one was a favorite on my old tumblr, and the vertical guy looks familiar,
but I still don't know anything about the picture. The patio pavers even look familiar.
Antaeus, in Greek mythology, a giant of Libya, the son of the sea god Poseidon and the Earth goddess Gaea. He compelled all strangers who were passing through the country to wrestle with him. ... Heracles, in combat with him, discovered the source of his strength and, lifting him up from Earth, crushed him to death.
These shots always turn me on. A guy's gear hanging like that is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteThe vertical guy looks like a guy I saw in a very early issue of Blueboy, or a very early Roy Dean.
ReplyDeleteI'll check my Roy Dean files when I've had some more coffee.

DeleteAntaeus and Apollo, Spalding and Shields must have wrestled in HS or college.
