When Margaret Hoening French donated her late husband's photo collection to the Smithsonian, it went to them without much curation.  There are some models and figures who are known, and a few scribbled margin notes. but there are some great images of men whose names we don't know.  
This dark haired reclining model is an example.

  1. These photos are cool because they are done against some unique backgrounds and using unique poses.

    1. They were made by some of the most creative people in America at the time, yet comparatively few know of them. You generally don't get into the Smithsonian by being mediocre.
