Bob 1944
A rock, a lake, some mountains, and Bob Steffan. Bandi perfection.
Looks like a precarious perch. He was a handsome kid, but I looked at some pics that were obviously taken later. Steffen grew more handsome as he matured, IMHO.
I wonder what film and/or process was used to achieve this look. It doesn't looks saturated enough to be Kodachrome? Possibly Agfachrome, which was more widely available during the war? It's a beautiful photo regardless.

ReplyDeleteVery good question, Randy. You are right about the saturation levels with Kodachrome, so my guess would be AGFA.
