Jacques Lalaing is credited for this lovely in the studio photo of a model. It has the longest
descriptive caption of any image on the CD, that being: "Jacques de Lalaing (1858-1917)
Estudio de un desnudo masculino, 1900, grabado en plata, Galerie Lumière des Roses 2"
This is a beautiful photo. The model has a magnificent physique, the composition is excellent and to top it all off there's that wonderful peekaboo.

Right, I can't find a single thing to complain about.
DeleteI got that peekaboo, too, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt was warm in the studio for sure.
DeleteOops. I hit publish too quickly. The shoulder and left arm muscles show up beautifully
ReplyDeleteEverything shows up beautifully. Even the peekaboo is true peekaboo, not in your face.
DeleteThe superbly captured energy of that photograph is as fresh as it was the day it was taken, 122 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Julian!
