Tom
Our only offering today for you derriere fanciers is this stark shot of Tom January.
Beautiful image and a delightful derriere, although probably too smooth for a certain blog follower from Belgium.
Talking of which, I do miss Albert's witty and entertaining comments here. I don't wish to pry or for you to betray any confidences but I hope all is well with Albert.
I recently read that Tom January was a vice cop for the LAPD. He had to virtually beg Milo several times to pose for him. I’m sure any photographer would be very wary of a vice cop wanting to pose nude for them back then. To my knowledge, Milo was the only photographer that January posed for.
On a totally different note: I wonder what photographers of vintage men were thinking when "poles" of some sort were used as the most common props. Where they phallic representations? Representations of weapons? Any ideas?
I think they had a range of possible intentions. Some were phallic, some were meant to resemble spears, and some were carried over from classic and later influences. And finally, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."
Perfect lighting! It highlights that perfect posterior.

Albert no longer comments because I enforced limits on overt and literal descriptions of sex acts.
DeleteI like those limitations. I enjoy reading the comments that I see as they are.

ReplyDeleteHow interesting! I had no idea.

DeleteThanks, that works for me.
