Our fourth Dave Martin rocky shoreline photo of the day features Jerry Baxter.
JERRY BAXTER was a Body Builder who posed Nude for Dave Martin on the San Francisco Bay in Brisbane California in 1953.!! This was on the Note Card Martin made for this Photo.!
Thank you for Posting more Dave Martin photos.! I began collecting and purchasing his Photos a few years ago. There are still so many I have never seen like most of the Dave Martin models from 1970 to 1974. Some Models like Tom Roan, a Penn State FootBall Player, I have only seen 2 Photos by Martin with 16 other Photos never found. I hope someday to see them all but have doubts that can really happen.!
Oh, you're quite welcome. Mr. Martin is one of my favorite photographers. There is hope that you (and the rest of us) may see more of his work in the future. I have recently noticed a definite increase in the number of "new" physique photos coming into the resale market, often in the form of estate sales of collectors. There have already been some Dave Martin items among those that I hadn't seen before, and trust me, I've looked for years.
I absolutely believe you. I recently purchased a Charlie Wall and Kevin Hall from an Estate sale of a collector. The Note card for each had only their name and the year and Dave Martin's signature. Both were genuine and "newly discovered".
