Lighting
The lighting here is dramatic, especially in relation to one key element.
Back in May, I was discussing this with a Royal Academy tutor. The various theories about human proportions. He was saying that it is true with many men's physiques.

One thing I always liked about that "key element" is that, as was the norm back then, it wasn't circumcised. It just adds to his overall appeal, IMHO.
