Familiar
I have a feeling someone will know who this guy is.
He and Glenn Bishop did a lot of photo shoots together, mostly with Oettinger as photographer. Alan and Bishop famously took over marketing and sales of their nude photos to pay for their college educations. Bishop was supposed to have paid his way through chiropractors school.
Another stunner! This has been an excellent series, Jerry, and I'm pleased that you now have names for some of the models featured. I'll certainly be looking out for more photos of Richard Alan.
Oettinger, Doug Juleff, and Delmonteque were all working in the Detroit area at the same time, so there is a lot of overlap. They did work together at times, but they also used the same pool of models and settings, so it's hard to tell some of the work apart. Just about all of it is good, though.
Nice light oil job. Handsome as hell.
ReplyDeleteBryan B. informed me by email that this is Richard Alan, probably by Douglas of Detroit.

ReplyDeleteAll correct, plus I think Bishop marketed a line of swim suits at one point.

ReplyDeleteYou'll have to cut and paste this link, but here are some others I've posted:

I have an Adonis magazine cover where he is seated but holding that same pole with photo attributed to Delmonteque -
ReplyDeleteJust saw another one with the same cloth covered stool but this one is attributed to Oettinger - I guess they were all working together at some point
