Today we'll be looking at some Mid-century men enjoying records with varying
combinations of modern furniture and sound equipment. These two don't seem to have
a hi-fi anywhere in sight, but at least they have a record to play. The sofa is classic.
A great photo and two very attractive men
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it, Phil.
DeleteAnd it's a Johnny Mathis album.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Mathis was "The Voice of Romance". That might explain this photo!
DeleteJohnny Mathis was a well known closet case by the 1960s
DeleteRight!
DeleteI agree with Phil, it's a great photo of two very attractive men. I'm not sure that they will miss not having a hi-fi. They look to me as if they're about to make some sweet music of their own together.
ReplyDeletePeter
They do look like they belong together.
DeleteI have to agree with you.
DeleteIt looks like there will be music despite the missing hi-fi. Nice looking males.
ReplyDeleteWith European-looking tan lines and intact male gear
ReplyDeleteThe joy of just hanging out nude. Male skin on skin. Can't be bettered.
ReplyDeleteBTW. I've seen this photo a few times over the years. If it helps I think this frm WPG.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think you're right. Is one of these guys the French model Belval who did some work for WPG?
DeleteYes, the guy on the couch is André Belval and sitting on the floor is Tim Richardson.
DeleteThanks, tcc.
DeleteBeval et Richardson, deux beaux hommes.
ReplyDeleteDefinitively a divine couple of lovers.
