The dreaded gloved finger

This recruit looks like he knows what's going to happen next.
I think this is Soviet, but I'm not certain.

  1. Why would a male under 50 Need a finger up there? Prostate exams aren't necessary until age 50. One thing that bugged me about "Big Bang Theory" was the apparent obsession with digital prostate exams on the part of 20-something-yr old men.

    1. I had been getting mine examined since my early 20s.

    2. At your own request, or because your physician had reason to do it?

    3. Docs' (plural) ideas; some with reason, others with general part of physical.

    4. I got that as part of my regular physical with every doctor until I joined a more "corporate" medical practice about 6 years ago.

  2. Une préparation pour un examen anal, certainement! Le garçon n'a pas l'air effrayé, à mon avis, ce n'est pas la première fois qu'il va recevoir un doigt dans le cul LOL

A preparation for an anal exam, certainly! The boy doesn't look scared, in my opinion it's not the first time he's gonna get a finger in his ass LOL

    1. You're right, Albert. He doesn't look bothered at all.

    1. Disposable gloves are often worn during examinations to prevent the doctors hands getting infected and to protect the patient against infectious agents or fomites the doctor may have on their hands. It's the same reason for wearing scrubs or a white lab coat. It is common to wear disposable gloves if you are examining the patient for skin issues and you are likely to be touching or feeling several sites on the body.

    2. That makes a lot of sense, Thomas. Even back then, precautions were wise.

  4. I actually am wondering if this is staged and made to look old, because the "doctor" looks a LOT like a man in a few photos I have of generic spanking etc of guys about this age. OTOH this "patient" looks very Slavic and the ones in the (color) photos I have look more Western
