Roy Blakey is best known for a lengthy stint in the Ice Capades and Holiday on Ice
traveling shows. For our purposes, however, we will be more interested in his work as a
photographer of male nudes after he retired from skating. Blakey's photo work was a bridge
between the wide open porn world of the 1970s and art photography. As you will see in
today's series, he was quite good. We start with Ronnie Chapelle from 1973.
We're these males also skaters? They almost have hockey player bodies.
