Michael Craver

Michael Craver and his pencil thin mustache appeared in a number of Doug Juleff photos that seem to have been made in several sessions.  Sometimes we see him with drawn on posing straps, but not here..

  1. The thing I hate about straps or trunks is the way they break the natural lines of the male body. We males have what we have, and no man should have to feel ashrd, and I male should be embarrassed to see or be seen at least in all-male company.

    1. I can't argue with your point. What I don't understand is that in a social environment where crass porn is freely available, men have been trained in recent decades not to be nude together. I was told by a high school classmate who became a gym teacher that a lot of it was because parents became terrified of molestation in the 80s and didn't want their sons showering together.

    2. My old gym teacher once tolde they stopped naked swimming, and mandatory showers, because "somebody's mommie was afraid somebody might see her little boy's peepee."

    1. I'll see if I have any standing pictures of him, and if I do, I'll post one in the next Douglas of Detroit series.

  3. The whole male modesty movement (I’m proud of that alliteration) actually started in the 1960’s. When swimming and other sports became co-ed, coverage was mandatory. In the 70’s most of the conventions regarding nudity were thrown out the nearest window. I’ve coached several sports for decades and have left the locker room nudity up to the individual. The only guys who talk about it usually have a screw or two loose.

    1. We started gang showers in 6th grade, and it was just accepted by everyone. Oddly, the only ribbing was of the guys who (at that point) were bigger in the package department. When the coach overheard it one day, he said, "Jealous, are we?" That go a huge laugh.

  4. I imagine now this would lead to a public stoning, but back in the late 60’s in high school we had a young man with Down’s syndrome who managed the gym locker room, mostly handing out towels and storing our clothes baskets ( no lockers). Any way he loved to look at naked boys. Never did anything or said much, he was very speech limited. So most of us let him have a look. Occasionally because we were teens we would pop a boner. Oh, he was in heaven then. No one ever complained or reported him, the PE teachers knew and it was just seen as making Wally happy.

    1. Glad to hear that no one was particularly bothered by Wally's admiration.
