Jack DeMarco
For our last columnar photo by Lon, he turned it on its side and put Jack DeMarco on it.
Good series on Lon, his models and his columns. Lon must have had more props than a film studio, in part thanks to Mae West and the decor she left in the apartment Lon bought from her. He should have helped her with her Muscleman Revue in the 50's....:)

ReplyDeleteSome of those revue guys were indeed physique models, but I've never seen any direct connection to Lon.

DeleteIf you think about it, columns could be considered symbols of the erect phallus, which adds to the eroticism of these pictures.
