Richard Burke
Every high end 1970s male had an elaborate stereo system and a color TV.
Both are on display in this Playgirl shot of Richard Burke.
Yes, wasn't it tedious. I had a friend who had a beautiful, if a bit chintzy, drawing room with some beautiful furniture, looking out on several green acres, into which he had introduced cheap, adjustable metal bookcases on which were stacked an endless array of equipment so he could listen to Radio Moscow in stereo through two huge speakers. I never saw the attraction - but Mr Burke has caught my eye.
