Sleeping berth
This photo of a sailor in a sleeping berth area shows that he either worked out
or that loading shells into guns all day can have a positive side effect.
Back in the day most Navy ships had no air-conditioning and those battleships would be like furnaces in the South Pacific :( So, some guys would go shirtless:)
We mostly ran around in our underwear. There was a guy who transferred over from another ship who complained that we didn't run around nude. The mind wanders.
This man should never be allowed to wear a shirt.
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me he rarely did.

They usually had to put on clothes to go topside. Sometimes during leisure hours, the clothing topside relaxed, and cameras broke out as well.
