George Tichenor
Even though we don't get a full view of his face, it's obvious that George Tichenor
was a very handsome man. As for how his body is posed, it is simply sublime.
I'm seldom certain of these things. All I'll say in this case was that someone paid $5,500 for an original print of this to a highly regarded auction house which labeled it as Mr. Tichenor. That was $1,000 over estimate. It would not, however, be the first time such a matter has gone astray.
Remarkable, subtle lighting adds to the overall beauty of the picture.

DeleteAre you sure of the ID? One of the books I have says this is Reid Miles from 1955.
