Robert Mapplethorpe
Robert Mapplethorpe was known for his self portraits, and I have included two.
The upper is dated 1972, the lower 1973, but I'm not certain about that.
He's better-looking than I thought.

ReplyDeletePeople had been doing photo self portraits for over a century, even nude ones, but Mapplethorp managed to find a new angle.
