Put a sock on it
Wasn't there a men's sexual health campaign in the early 2000s that had guys pose for pictures with a sock on it to get people's attention? This French art class was way ahead of its time.
I have seen academic drawings with what appears to be a cover like that, but for some reason I can't explain, I think they put this one on just for the photo.
I think that you're right about the "sock". From art work I've seen, some Russian art schools seemed to use them. Or, at least, in works reproduced. I don't think the French would, ever. Such a cute model. Like most models, he seems to enjoy being the centre of attention.
Why would an all-male class, be it art or anatomy, require a guy to "sock his cock?"
