Faucet

An outdoor faucet does the trick for these two, but the picture left me wondering
if there wasn't an indoor option available in that substantial looking building.

  1. Maybe they were just too dirty initially to be allowed inside.

    1. LOL, I was told that by my mother on several occasions as a kid.

    2. But did she make you strip off and shower out of doors?

    3. She didn't make me, but if it was warm I'd do it on my own with the hose. There was always a towel on the back porch for such exigencies. If it was cold, I'd hose off my feet and calves and then shower inside.

    4. The house I grew up in had a full walkout basement with a full shower. Mom used to call it a horse shower given the size and the fact the house was an old carriage house. As long as you were dripping in mud that was your first stop coming in.

    5. Lucky you. We just had the hose with no hot water outside.

    6. Yeah- growing up in New England having no hot water would have sucked!
