Splinter
Our last Tom Bianchi polaroid is simply called "Splinter."
Bianchi's work always excited me. I wrote him a fan letter and he invited me to visit. Back then, I might have even ended up in one of his shots. But I never made it. Damn.
I have a few, too, Dee. The color is OK overall, but some of them haven't aged well. There was one type where you had to wipe a solution on the picture after you peeled the cover off, and those could be tricky.

ReplyDeleteToo bad you missed out on that visit.
DeleteColor Polaroids are the Autochromes of my and Jerry's generation. I still have a few from the 60s that have kept their colors well.- Dee Exx
