1951
By 1951, abstraction still dominated with the male form staying clearly at the forefront.

An abstract male nude that is also explicit for 1951, I wonder if was publicly exhibited back then. Davis worked in different art mediums from paintings to film and corresponded with and inspired other artists :)
I can't believe I never heard of him until recently.
