Lighting up
I was told back in tumblr days that his is from a French nudist website. (I couldn't remember
where I got it, so I asked for viewer comments.) Is that a Mercedes hubcap design?
I don't think so. If this is a French car, from the little I can see, it could be the paws of the lion rampant of a Peugeot. At a push, it could be the Citroën chevron.

I would also say Mercedes. Did some google image searches and Brian has a great eye and knowledge of mid-50s Mercedes. And I feel sorry for this model as he has nice equipment and is good look and we are all talking about the car.
