Nash Statesman
This trim fellow is standing in front of his Nash Statesman, an upscale cousin
of the Nash Rambler. "Beep, beep! Beep, beep! The Rambler went beep beep."
My goodness, that's one helluva beast, isn't it... I mean the car. That radiator grille is one great chunk of chrome. You could take it into battle. No wonder Mr Man looks so fulfilled!
Many years ago, a relative had a 1950 Nash Ambassador coupe with a front seat that folded down into a full-size bed ! The car was two-tone green and looked like a cucumber :)
We had a Nash Rambler when I was in high school. My brother and I did some crazy shit in that car.
ReplyDeleteSomehow, most of us survived that sort of thing.

ReplyDeleteChrome was King at the time. Some cars had even more.
DeleteSome referred to this as a "bathtub" car.
ReplyDeleteI can see why, lol.

ReplyDeleteI notice the "non-shapely-woman" shadow taking the pic.
ReplyDeleteIf a guy, asks to take a picture when you are nearly nude...he wants to see you nude.
Could have been an army buddy. The building in the background looks like barracks. And I completely agree about asking to take a picture.
