Jim French of Colt Studio was a breath of fresh air when he hit his stride as a photographer. Never afraid to feature beefier or more mature men than the usual offering of his day, he filled an important gap from the late 1960s into the 2000s. DeleteBy marriages, he's my 7th cousin; and also my 8th cousin, once removed. He comes from an old French family that emigrated to Acadia in the 1640s.
