Whatever happened to Dr. Walter Needham . . . a beautiful and exceptional man

As promised, today is Walt Needham (1936-2012) day, and I have never done a series on a more interesting and exceptional human being.  A lot of physique models faded into obscurity after their careers, and some even came to a bad end, but not this man.  Born the son of a movie theater manager in Salt Lake City, he built himself up both physically and intellectually, living a truly remarkable life.  Each and every photo today will be accompanied by biographical facts that you should find interesting, and I didn't have room to even list them all.  He was simply that accomplished and nothing less than the best.

  3. This may have been already addressed (the original post was deleted). There is an obituary for a another Walt Needham, who died in February 2021 (I found this confusing when searching for the correct obit). Our Walter Evans Needham's obituary lists the date of death as June 2012. If this has already been resolved, please disregard.

    1. You're correct. I had it right originally but someone sent me the incorrect gentleman's date. Now fixed again.

    2. But I believe the date should be 2012 instead of 2112. (Maybe it's one of those days! :) )

    3. "One of those" days doesn't even begin to describe it.
